This comic was inspired by the racist illustrations of The Oompa Loompas by Faith Jaques in an early version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The Oompa Loompas were described as "Pygmies" "imported directly from Africa."

Later versions had a different picture, with the Ompa Loompas described as "short white hippies."

We thought this was pretty lousy to say the least, but then we thought "What if Willy Wonka was a really rich slave trader..."

Inversely, this comic is dedicated to Roald Dahl, Quentin Blake and David Seltzer, all of whom we really appreciate ripping off. Please don't sue us!
